Mass Agencies often limit access to records – Transparency Issues?

Secretary of State Galvin’s office is charged with helping oversee the public records law.  “Massachusetts ranked 49th out of 50 states in the time it took agencies to answer public records requests filed through Muckrock, a Boston – based news startup that helps people obtain government documents.”  To better understand the challenges faced with obtaining public records in Massachusetts and the initiatives underway to challenge this behavior, please read the following article published by the Boston Globe.
